Description
Job Summary (List Format):
- Performs and completes diagnostic CT and X-ray procedures according to established guidelines and protocols.
- Prepares patients for examinations, ensuring proper positioning and patient care.
- Operates and maintains GE and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment.
- Adheres to safety standards, providing radiation protection for both patients and staff.
- Follows guidelines set by OhioHealth, Grant/Riverside Medical Centers, and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Handles routine and trauma radiographic studies, particularly in a Level I Trauma center.
- Maintains accurate documentation and uses EPIC EMR system.
- Works night shift (3x12s, 6:00 pm-6:30 am), including every other weekend and assigned holidays/call rotation.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (270-290 scans/day).
- Wears charcoal grey scrubs as per department dress code.
