Diagnostic Imaging Technologist (X-Ray/CT Tech)

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 18 weeks

Job Description

• Full-time position working 5-8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• No call and no weekend shifts
• Perform a variety of radiology diagnostic imaging procedures including fluoroscopy, OR, orthopedics, X-ray, and CT
• Support multiple departments such as oncology, neurosurgery, large orthopedic practice, family practice, internal medicine, urology, women’s health, pediatrics, and others
• Work in a 78-bed hospital environment that can be hectic at times
• Must demonstrate high skill, confidence, autonomy, proper safety techniques, and produce high-quality imaging films

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience as a Radiology Technologist and X-Ray Technician

Additional Requirements

• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility (Radius Rule)
• Must comply with Colorado CAPS requirement (may take up to two weeks to obtain)
• Accurate Social Security Number and Date of Birth must be provided to avoid onboarding delays

Schedule & Hours

• 40 hours per week
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (5-8 hour shifts)
• No weekends or on-call duties

Experience

• Experience performing a variety of imaging procedures in a hospital or clinical setting is expected
• Comfortable working in a sometimes hectic environment

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• License requirement is specific to Diagnostic Imaging specialty (ARRT certifications)
