Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Position Overview:
The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced cardiac procedural environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
 

Assignment Details:

• Location: New York, NY 10025
• Start Date: 07/06/2026
• End Date: 10/03/2026
• Shift: Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Schedule: 3 x 11.5-hour shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours/week
• No Weekends
• 13-Week Contract

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor clinical status before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in patient throughput, care coordination, and discharge planning activities.

Requirements:

• Active New York RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing considered with relevant experience
