Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Facility: Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Weekend Nights | Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 5:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Start Date: ASAP
Position Type: Travel Contract
Position Overview
Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a weekend night travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong CT experience in a fast-paced hospital setting and be comfortable working independently while providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and department protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Administer contrast media as required
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system
- Follow all hospital, state, and regulatory guidelines
- Float within skill set to other departments or nearby facilities (within 40 miles) as needed
Requirements
Required:
- ARRT (CT) Certification
- Wisconsin Radiographer License (must be in hand at time of submission)
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 3 years of CT experience
- Previous travel assignment experience
- Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners
- Experience working in a hospital setting
Preferred:
- EPIC EMR experience
- Strong trauma and emergency imaging experience
Schedule Details
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- 5:30 PM – 6:00 AM
- Weekend position
- On-call requirements based on department needs
- Holiday coverage required if holiday falls on scheduled weekend
