Position Details
- Specialty: CVOR / Pre-Op RN
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
- Start Date: 6/23
- No RTO allowed
- On-Call: Stay late 1–2 times per week
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Unit Size: 4 beds
- Scrubs Provided
Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license or Compact license
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Critical Care experience (required)
- Pre-Op experience (preferred)
- BLS & ACLS certifications
Unit & Facility Details
- Unit: CV PreOp (supports CVOR)
- Documentation: Cerner
- Equipment: GE Carescape monitoring, Fuji ultrasound
- Team includes RNs, CNC support, secretary, and unit manager
Responsibilities
- Large bore IV starts and medication administration
- Full patient prep including skin assessment and surgical prep
- Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
- Transport patients to OR and assist with induction/intubation
- Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
