CT Tech Travel Opportunity - Texas, Houston

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel
Location: Houston, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Shift: Variable (7 on/7 off, Thursday to Wednesday)
Unit: CT Department covering Emergency Department (ED), Outpatient (OP), and Inpatient (IP)
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Equipment: Fixed CT scanners
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech (Expanse starting 10/9)
Dress Code: Green scrubs

Unit Information

Number of Beds: CT department serving ED, OP, and IP
Staff: Approximately 10 full-time and PRN CT Techs
Shifts: Both day and night shifts staffed by CT Techs
Typical Procedures: All ordered CT exams for ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings
Preferred Experience: Trauma Level II facility experience is a plus
Personality Fit: Teamwork mindset

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (CT) Certification
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Completion of CT Technologist Assessment or HCA Employee Health and Safety Acknowledgement Forms or USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk
