- Specialty: Outpatient Cardiology Clinic
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Shift: Day 5x8
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
Schedule & Requirements
- Monday–Friday schedule
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- No weekends
- No on-call requirements
- Travelers living within 70 miles of the facility are considered local and are not accepted
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Recent Outpatient Cardiology experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Travel experience preferred
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- LTAC experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Manage outpatient cardiology patients
- Perform cardiac assessments and monitor cardiac symptoms
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias
- Provide patient education regarding cardiac conditions and medications
- Administer medications and IV infusions
- Telephone triage and follow-up calls
- Review imaging and test results
- Medication refills and pharmacy coordination
- Schedule appointments and referrals
- Insurance verification and authorization processing
- Venipuncture and specimen collection
- Emergency response including CPR and AED use
