Travel PCU RN
📍 Asheville, NC 28801
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a PCU unit in Asheville, NC.
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN License
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Neuro and Trauma Care experience
Preferred Experience:
- Strong Neuro and Trauma Stepdown background
- Experience caring for complex neurological and trauma patients
Common Procedures & Skills:
- Neuro and spinal assessments
- C-Collar placement and TLSO brace management
- Chest tube management
- PCA pumps
- IV infusions
- Lumbar drain care
- Feeding tube placement and management
- Blood transfusions
Floating:
- May float to Stepdown and Med-Surg units as needed
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong team player
- Patient-focused
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
