- Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
- Shift: 8-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- EMR: Epic
- Trauma Level: CAH
- Orientation: 5 Days with Preceptor
- License Required at Submission: Yes
- BSN Required: No
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Strong Orthopedic experience required
- Sports Medicine experience required
- Robotics experience required
- Endoscopy experience OR C-Section experience required
- Experience with:
- Total Joints
- Sports Medicine
- Hand Procedures
- Trauma Cases
- General Surgery
- GYN Procedures
- Endoscopy
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate surgical cases in the Operating Room
- Support orthopedic, sports medicine, robotic, general, GYN, and endoscopy procedures
- Maintain sterile environment and patient safety standards
- Assist with room turnover and cleaning between procedures
- Document patient care in Epic
- Participate in on-call rotation and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, CSTs, and perioperative staff
