Travel RN – Med/Surg Telemetry / Pediatrics

Requirements:

Active RN license
Adult Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
Pediatric patient care experience required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Must pass Dysrhythmia Exam (80% minimum within 2 attempts before contract signing)

Assignment Details:

Night shifts (7:30 PM – 7:30 AM)
Every other weekend required
Charting: Cerner
First to float
Ratios: Pediatrics 1:3–4 | Adult MST 1:5

Patient Population:

Adult Med/Surg Telemetry and Pediatrics
Surgical: Joint replacements, bowel resections, hysterectomies, appendectomies
Medical: COPD, pneumonia, COVID, MRSA, C-diff, chest pain
Pediatrics: RSV, influenza, seizures, dehydration, failure to thrive

Float Requirements:

Float to MST, MCU, and Birthing Unit (Mom-Baby couplets)
May float to Labor & Delivery if experienced
Will not float to West Campus

Additional Information:

Telemetry interpretation required
No titratable drips
Holiday rotation and low-census standby rotation
Navy scrubs required
50-mile radius rule applies
Candidates cannot have worked for any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility in the past year.
