Schedule & Requirements
- Position: Sterile Processing Technician (SPD Tech)
- Facility: Swedish American
- Shift: Days, 8-Hour Shifts
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Required Experience
✔ 6–8 Years of Sterile Processing Experience
✔ Experience in a similar hospital/acute-care setting
✔ Strong instrument decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and case cart preparation experience
Preferred Certifications
✔ CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)
✔ CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution)
Key Responsibilities
- Decontaminate surgical instruments and medical equipment
- Inspect, assemble, and package instrument trays
- Operate sterilization equipment
- Maintain sterilization records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards
- Prepare and distribute case carts and sterile supplies
- Monitor inventory and supply levels
- Support operating room and procedural departments
