Med/Surg RN – 4EA (Remote Telemetry Unit)
🏥 Unit: 4EA Med/Surg (Remote Telemetry)
🛏️ Beds: 32
Patient Population
- Medical/Surgical patients
- Internal Medicine patients
- Family Practice patients
- Hospitalist overflow
- Acute & Chronic Renal Failure
- Dialysis patients
- Fluid overload management
- Stable ventilator patients
- BiPAP patients
Telemetry
- Remote telemetry unit
- Patients only placed on telemetry when ordered
- Telemetry monitored 24/7
Drips & Skills Required
- Heparin drips
- Dopamine infusion at fixed rate (5 mcg) for renal perfusion
- No titration required
- Renal patient management
- Ventilator and BiPAP patient care
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Ideal Candidate
✅ Strong Med/Surg background
✅ Experience with telemetry patients
✅ Comfortable caring for renal and dialysis patients
✅ Experience with Heparin drips
✅ Familiar with stable vent and BiPAP patients
