🔍 Key Responsibilities

Perform a variety of CT scans using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes
Ensure accurate patient identification and exam verification
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness
Administer contrast media as ordered and monitor for reactions
Follow all radiation safety and infection control protocols
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
Troubleshoot equipment issues and report concerns as needed
Stay up to date with evolving CT technologies and best practices
Support and guide junior technologists and students

✅ Requirements

Education & Certification:

Associate’s Degree (required)
ARRT (R) Certification (required)
BLS Certification (required)
State License (if applicable)

Experience:

1–2 years of CT experience preferred
Hospital setting experience preferred

Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and protocols
Proficiency in sectional anatomy and patient positioning
Experience with contrast administration and injector systems
Ability to evaluate and manipulate digital imaging
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and handle emergent situations
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
