Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans according to physician orders and department protocols.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
- Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for reactions.
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Epic.
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.
- Assist with trauma, stroke, burn, and emergency patients as needed.
- Verify equipment functionality and report any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
Requirements
- Active CT Technologist Certification.
- ARRT (CT) certification.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Experience as a CT Technologist.
- Experience with GE CT scanners preferred.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (Wed–Fri, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM).
