Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Set up and maintain sterile fields.
- Scrub and assist surgeons during orthopedic, neuro, and robotic surgeries.
- Pass instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures.
- Perform surgical counts before, during, and after procedures.
- Ensure proper handling of surgical specimens.
- Assist with patient positioning and preparation.
- Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards.
- Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment as needed.
- Support the surgical team throughout procedures.
Required Experience
- Recent Operating Room Surgical Tech experience.
- Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgery experience (required).
- Spinal Fusion experience (Orthopedic or Neuro service required).
- Total Joint Arthroplasty experience required.
- Experience scrubbing orthopedic and neuro procedures.
- Experience with robotic procedures preferred.
