Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Skilled Nursing Facility

Blue Palms Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract in Tampa, Florida. Partnering with Quality Rehab Management, this opportunity offers the chance to work with an adult and geriatric population in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting focused on restoring mobility, function, and independence.
You'll work alongside Physical Therapists and an interdisciplinary care team to implement treatment plans, assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training, and help residents achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
