Description
Interventional Radiology Technologist (Allied) – Travel/Local Contract
Location: Emerson Hospital
Specialty: Interventional Radiology (IR)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Assignment Dates: July 6, 2026 (Flexible)
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week (4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Employment Type: Travel or Local Contract
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience in a mid-to-large facility.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced procedural environment.
- Experience with:
- Angiograms (A-grams)
- AV Fistulograms
- Port placements
- PICC line placements
- Hemodialysis catheter procedures
- Kyphoplasty
- Ultrasound- and CT-guided biopsies
- Drainage procedures (Paracentesis and Thoracentesis)
- Lumbar punctures
- Myelograms
- Joint and spinal steroid injections
- IVC filter placement and removal
- Baker cyst aspirations
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license.
- Current ARRT (R) certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous travel experience preferred and required for traveler candidates.
Additional Information
- Department operates Monday–Friday.
- Flexibility on day off; candidate must be available to work Wednesdays.
- Call requirement:
- Monday–Friday: 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
