Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist – Travel Contract
Location: Cape Cod, MA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: July 20
Shift: 5x8s Days (Rotating start times: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
On-Call: Required (nights, weekends, and holidays; must be able to arrive onsite within 30 minutes)
Hours: 40 hours/week (30-minute unpaid break)
Job Description
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to perform specialized vascular and neuroradiology angiographic procedures. This role involves operating advanced radiographic equipment to assist in interventional procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including vascular and neuroradiology angiography
- Operate radiographic imaging equipment and maintain quality standards
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures
- Ensure proper use of radiation protection equipment (lead apron required)
- Accurately document procedures using EPIC charting system
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to safety protocols
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a 24-month AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (IR) Certification – Required
- Current state licensure (if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Cath Lab experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Current physical exam and TB test (per compliance requirements)

- Facility provides a 1-day hospital orientation (8 hours) plus additional onboarding via HealthStream

Compensation
- Travel Pay Package:
- Up to $4,211/week (July–August rates)
- ~$3,861/week (September rates)
- Includes housing stipend and meals allowance
- Local Rate: $3,520/week (case-by-case approval)
