Unit Information: Pharmacy 2nd Floor
Location: HCA HealthONE Swedish
Address: 501 E. Hampden Ave, Englewood, CO 80113
Building: SMC Inpatient Pharmacy
Number of Beds - 406
Number of Staff – approx. 30 pharmacists
Day Shift – 2 pharmacists in unit dose, 1 in IV, 1 in satellite, 1 in ED, 3 in the tower, 1 critical care rounding, 1 ID pharmacist, oncology pharmacist, COE pharmacist help
Night Shift - 2 pharmacists in unit dose, 1 in IV, 1 in satellite. Overnight- 1 pharmacist. COE pharmacist help
Patient Ratios – variable
Type of equipment – Pyxis machines, CII safe
EMR – Meditech and Vigilanz
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: Pharmacist
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum 6 months acute care hospital Pharmacist experience
Colorado pharmacist license
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
ACLS & BLS
Residency – PGY1
Inpatient pharmacy experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Order verification and medication final verification
Performs clinical dosing per established guidelines and documents clinical tasks in Vigilanz software

Great communication skills, ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
