Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Pre-op/PACU Nurse Manager for a contract assignment in West Nyack, NY. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, management experience, and previous Operating Room exposure. This role focuses on overseeing day-to-day operations, troubleshooting workflow issues, and supporting a high-quality perioperative environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Pre-op and PACU departments.
• Provide leadership and support to clinical staff.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
• Ensure adherence to clinical policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient care.
• Support efficient patient flow and departmental productivity.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC charting system.
• Promote a safe and positive work environment.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of perioperative and PACU nursing practices.
• Ability to manage day-to-day unit operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Experience working in an acute care setting.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Previous management experience required.
• Some Operating Room (OR) experience required.
• BSN required.

• AHA - BLS,ACLS
