Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Unit: Interventional Radiology
Location: Bronx, NY, 10457
Shift: Night 
Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks

 

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced RN – Interventional Radiology with a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Candidates must hold current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; however, prior pediatric experience is not neccessory. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and procedural nursing skills are essential.
 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to sedation and treatments.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and moderate sedation as prescribed, following established protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and procedural support.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
