Description

Schedule & Requirements

  • Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Contract Length: 90 days (approximately 13 weeks)

Required Experience

  • Minimum experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
  • Emergency Department/Trauma nursing experience required
  • Experience managing high-acuity and trauma patients

Required Certifications

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • TNCC
  • PALS or ENPC (either certification accepted)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform rapid assessment and triage of emergency and trauma patients.
  • Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care for critically ill and injured patients.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions.
  • Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
  • Assist physicians during trauma activations, resuscitations, and emergency procedures.
  • Manage airway, cardiac, neurological, and trauma-related emergencies.
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility protocols.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Additional Information

  • Trauma-center experience is mandatory.
  • Candidates must hold all required certifications prior to submission.
  • Fast-paced Emergency Department environment with high-acuity patient population.
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week throughout the assignment.
