Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Length: 90 days (approximately 13 weeks)
Required Experience
- Minimum experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
- Emergency Department/Trauma nursing experience required
- Experience managing high-acuity and trauma patients
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- TNCC
- PALS or ENPC (either certification accepted)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rapid assessment and triage of emergency and trauma patients.
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care for critically ill and injured patients.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions.
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
- Assist physicians during trauma activations, resuscitations, and emergency procedures.
- Manage airway, cardiac, neurological, and trauma-related emergencies.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Additional Information
- Trauma-center experience is mandatory.
- Candidates must hold all required certifications prior to submission.
- Fast-paced Emergency Department environment with high-acuity patient population.
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week throughout the assignment.
