Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures.
- Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and hemodynamic status.
- Administer medications, sedation, and contrast agents as ordered.
- Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment and monitoring systems.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
- Respond quickly to emergencies and complications during procedures.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient assessment and education.
- Document patient care accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Participate in on-call coverage, including evenings and weekends.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
