Description

• To define those characteristics that are needed to perform successfully as a Registered Nurse in the MedSurg and ICU Department. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required.

Requirements

Day Shift; 0600 to 1830 shift, 36 hours per week, per Manager. ER and ICU experience preferred as some floating may be needed.

Education and Qualifications

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: At least one year Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months and acute critical experience within the last 12 months or EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years experience & in good standing.
• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of California.
• LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Evidence of current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
• LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: MICN desired to be completed within one year of hire.
• LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged and recommended.
• QUALIFICATIONS: Basic computer skills.
