Description
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a high-acuity travel assignment within the UnityPoint Health system. This position requires floating between Iowa Methodist Medical Center (IMMC), Iowa Lutheran Hospital (ILH), and Methodist West Hospital (MWH). Candidates must be comfortable caring for high-risk obstetric patients and working in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.
Unit Details
- 45-bed unit
- 2 Operating Rooms
- Patient Ratios: 1:1–2
- Approximately:
- 300–350 deliveries/month at Iowa Methodist
- 150 deliveries/month at Methodist West
- Hospital-provided scrubs
Patient Population
- High-risk OB
- Antepartum
- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean sections
- Postpartum/Mother-Baby (preferred experience)
