Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for a 20-week travel assignment at a Critical Access Level III Trauma Center. This position is ideal for a technician with strong experience in sterile processing, endoscope reprocessing, high-level disinfection, and instrument tracking systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting multiple surgical specialties and maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and sterilization practices.
Schedule
- Variable Day Shifts
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Sunday coverage required
- No on-call
- No block scheduling
- 20-week assignment
Requirements
Required
- Current CBSPD or HSPA/CRCST Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year Sterile Processing experience
- Epic experience
- Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM) experience
- Experience with all sterilization modalities except ETO
- Reliable transportation
Preferred
- Previous Charge or Lead experience
- Community Hospital experience
- Trauma Center experience
- LTAC experience
- CBSPD specialty certifications
