Not bad at all, but also it wasn’t perfect. Floated a bit much. My floor was at the top of the hospital so I had to go to my floor and the. To the other unit which was inconsiderate. Nurses were mostly great with one or two jerks. Otherwise fine.

I was floated nearly every shift during my time at Salem. I was also told I would work ICU/PCU and worked PCU/med surg instead, which was not where my primary experience was. I had unsafe assignments and didn’t feel the hospital prioritized or safety. I learned a lot, but I would rather know what I am headed into prior to contract start, and I wish patient safety would have been better prioritized.
