Travel RN Case Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Case Manager for a 13-week travel assignment at a nationally recognized Magnet-designated Level II Trauma hospital in Alaska. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with acute care and case management experience who are skilled in discharge planning, care coordination, utilization review, and patient advocacy.
Important: An active Alaska RN License is required in hand for Auto Offer consideration.
Assignment Details
- Position: RN Case Manager
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: 07/20/2026
- Shift: 5x8 Days
- Typical Shift Times:
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 Hours per 2 Weeks
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 4 weekend days within a 4-week schedule
- On-Call: Not Required
- Floating: Yes, within Case Management Services as needed
- Block Scheduling: Not Available
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Local Candidates: Not Accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Active Alaska RN License (Required for Auto Offer)
- BLS Certification
- ACM-RN Certification (Preferred)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of RN Case Management experience
- Acute Care Hospital experience required (Hard Stop)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Behavioral Health experience alone does not qualify
- Travel experience not required
