Job Overview

• Location: Roanoke, VA
• Position: CT Technologist (Radiology / Cardiology)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Target Start Date: 07/13/2026
• Shift: Nights | 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 07:00)
  • Note: Shift hours are scheduled as 3x13s (6p - 7a) on consecutive days starting Monday or Tuesday. Shift time may vary by +/- 2 hours depending on unit needs (hours guaranteed; advance notice provided).

Job Description & Unit Details

Join a premier, 700+ bed acute care teaching hospital, Level I Trauma Center, and Magnet-designated certified stroke center. This role offers an excellent opportunity for seasoned tech professionals looking for a high-impact travel contract.

• System/Equipment: Siemens experience is required.
• Charting System: EPIC experience is required.
• Floating: Traveler may be required to float to Carilion Clinic Riverside (located approximately 0.5 miles from Roanoke Memorial).
• Call Off Policy: Facility is permitted to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Requirements

Experience & Rules

• Experience Required: Strong proficiency in the preparation and/or administration of contrast media and radiation safety.
• First-Time Travelers: Not accepted (must have prior travel experience).
• Locals: Not accepted (strict radius rules apply).

Certifications & License

• Certifications: BLS, ARRTR, and ARRT (CT) are required.
• State License: Virginia state license is required.
  • Pending Licenses Accepted: Any active state license in hand is accepted. Virginia will grant emergency authorization to travelers with an active license so you can work while your permanent VA license processes.
