Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry
Location
- Fort Wayne, Indiana
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend
- 36 hours per week
- No block schedule option
Unit and Patient Population
- Neuro Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
- Higher acuity med-surg patients including:
- Stroke
- Seizures
- Post-operative neuro surgeries
- Level 2 trauma patients
- Level 1 trauma post-ICU care
- Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)
- Renal failure
- General post-operative care
Patient Ratio
- 5:1 or 6:1
Floating
- Required to float to other med-surg/telemetry units
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Telemetry experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
