Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Location

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Employment Type

Travel assignment

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Every other weekend
36 hours per week
No block schedule option

Unit and Patient Population

Neuro Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
Higher acuity med-surg patients including:
- Stroke
- Seizures
- Post-operative neuro surgeries
- Level 2 trauma patients
- Level 1 trauma post-ICU care
- Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)
- Renal failure
- General post-operative care

Patient Ratio

5:1 or 6:1

Floating

Required to float to other med-surg/telemetry units

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Telemetry experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
