Description
Registered Nurse (MS/Telemetry) - Travel Position
Location
- Tucson, Arizona
Job Type
- Travel assignment
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start: ASAP, preferably within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
- Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 shifts of 12 hours each per week)
- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
- Float Pool Position: Must be willing to float between multiple departments and facilities within the region
Job Description
- Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in compliance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel
- Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6:1
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience (minimum 2 years), including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
