Description

Schedule

Monday–Friday
8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (5x8s)
Must be available for occasional evening hours
No weekends
No holidays
No on-call responsibilities

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience required

Education

Bachelor's degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program
Degree in Health Sciences or another biological science discipline
Master's degree preferred

Certifications

ASCP Certified Pathologists' Assistant (PA-ASCP) required
Demonstrated competency in handling simple to complex anatomic pathology specimens

Technical Skills

Strong written and verbal communication
Microsoft Office proficiency
Google Workspace proficiency
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic

Ideal Candidate Profile

10+ years as a Pathologists' Assistant
Extensive experience in surgical pathology and autopsy pathology
Gross examination and dissection of simple and complex specimens
Specimen photography and documentation
Frozen section assistance
Strong laboratory information system (LIS) experience
Excellent communication with pathologists, surgeons, and laboratory staff
ASCP certified and currently active
