Endoscopy/GI Lab
Our Endo nurses support Electroconvulsive therapy sessions. They use the same Endoscopy navigator on EPIC. Nurses will be involved in preop, intraop mainly timeout and documentation, and post op
Certs- BLS (must be AHA), ACLS
2 years experience
Weekend- covered by on call (see call requirements)
Holiday- covered by on call (see call requirements), Call- RNs take call on weekends (10 hr Saturday and Sunday and only 2 hrs M-F but self-schedule this),
No Float,
Must have strong IV skills
Misc Information: 25 per day; 75 outpatient, 25 inpatient
EMR- EPIC, Provation,
Floor Orientation- 1 week, Scrubs- Navy Blue Pants and Solid Navy-Blue tops or Solid white (Jackets Solid Navy Blue or Solid white), will use maroon srubs,
IMVH GI also supports ECT cases 3 times a week (preop, intraop and post op).
