Location: Aventura, Florida
Facility: Aventura Hospital and Medical Center
Shift: Evenings | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
 

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a dynamic diagnostic imaging team at a leading acute care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patients during examinations and ensure their safety and comfort.
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment efficiently.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
• Document procedures accurately within the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Active ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE imaging equipment.
• Experience using Meditech EMR.
• Additional certifications such as RT(T), ASRT, or FASRT preferred.
