Description
ON CALL: 1 on-call week per month
Weekend Requirements: As per facility need
Certification Requirements:
- Active RN License
Experience:
- Leadership experience required
- Prior experience supervising nursing staff preferred (RN, LPN, CMA, CNA)
- Skilled Nursing / LTC experience preferred
- Budget and operations management experience preferred
Specialized In:
- Nursing Leadership & Team Supervision
- Staffing and Coverage Management
- Regulatory Compliance (State & Federal)
- Budget Control and Expense Monitoring
- Admissions Coordination
- Clinical Operations Oversight
- Quality Improvement and Deficiency Resolution
- Interdepartmental Collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise nursing staff across all levels
- Ensure adequate staffing per regulatory requirements
- Coordinate admissions with Admissions Director
- Enforce policies for compliance and quality care standards
- Manage budget, expenditures, and operational efficiency
- Address deficiencies and operational issues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation systems
- Collaborate with departments to streamline operations
- May be required to work on the floor during call-ins

Cons
Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
