We’re hiring a skilled Travel CVOR Registered Nurse for a high-acuity cardiovascular program at a nationally ranked hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a fast-moving backfill role with auto-offer, ideal for experienced CVOR nurses ready to work alongside a top-tier surgical team.

❤️ Unit Details – CV PreOp / CVOR

Unit: CV PreOp (supporting CVOR)
Location: Heart Tower (Building E)
Beds: 4
Ratios: 1:1
Charting: Cerner
Equipment: GE Carescape Monitoring, Fuji Ultrasound
Team Support: CNC, Manager, shared CVOR staff

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Pre-op preparation for cardiovascular surgery patients
Large-bore IV starts & medication administration
Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
Patient transport to OR
Assist with induction, intubation, positioning, and surgical prep
Perform skin assessments and pre-procedure care
Collaborate with surgical and interdisciplinary teams

✅ Requirements

2+ years RN experience (CVOR or Critical Care required)
Strong critical thinking and independence in high-acuity settings
Experience with fast-paced surgical or pre-op environments
BLS & ACLS required
Excellent communication and documentation skills
