Description
Director of Pulmonary Services
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
Duration: 6 Months
Required Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts Respiratory License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications
- Management/Director-level experience required
- Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- NRP preferred
Experience Required:
- Acute Care & Critical Care
- Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)
- Blood Gas Laboratory Operations & Accreditation
- Sleep Lab/Polysomnography
- Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation
- EEG Services
- Knowledge of Neonatal Respiratory Care preferred
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee Respiratory Care, PFT Lab, Blood Gas Lab, Sleep Lab, and Cardiopulmonary Rehab departments
- Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care across multiple age groups
- Manage departmental operations, staffing, budgeting, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance
- Drive performance improvement, patient satisfaction, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams across multiple campuses
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, accreditation standards, and best practices
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel between Cambridge, Everett, and Somerville campuses as needed
- Strong leadership, operational, and clinical management skills
