LPN/LVN - acute care exp REQUIRED
IMPORTANT!!! --> Please note if traveler lives within 50mi they will be considered local and BR is $10 less than travel rate

Start Date (or range): ASAP
Assignment Length: 13 WEEKS
Floating Required: Yes, between 2 med surg units
Ratios: can be up to 10 patients on one unit, on another unit, it a nursing care team, of RN, LPN, PCA with up to 8 patients. -- PLEASE ENSURE YOUR TRAVELER IS COMFORTABLE WITH THESE RATIOS PRIOR TO SUBMITTING.

Shift: 3X12s - open to 4x12 w/ no OT until after 52 hrs
Guaranteed Hours: 36 - unless signing 4x12s
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; Every other holiday

Minimum Years of Experience: 1
Recent Experience Required: Yes – within the past year
Required Skills / Competencies: Medication Administration, MS/Tele, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management, Isolation precaution

License Required: NY State License
Certifications Required: BLS, 8 hours of stroke education

All RTO must be on submittal. Any RTO AFTER offer will NOT be approved. It will be the travelers responsibility to have any additional shifts covered.

Call-Off Policy: 3 Shifts per 13 Week Assignment

Automatic Disqualifiers: No Hits On Nursing License Approved
