Job Title: Cardiovascular Cath Lab Tech CWR
Department: O – Heart and Vascular
Location: OUMC – Bricktown, NJ
Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Schedule: 4x10 | 40 Hours/Week
Duration: Contract Assignment
 

Job Description:
• Assist physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic/interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Support temporary and permanent pacemaker placement and circulatory support devices including Impella and IABP.
• Prepare sterile trays, procedure equipment, and patient monitoring setup.
• Operate hemodynamic monitoring systems and collect/analyze procedural data.
• Assist with power injectors, vascular access, sheath removal, and hemostatic closure devices.
• Monitor and recognize cardiac arrhythmias during procedures.
• Maintain digital imaging records and comply with CVIS standards.
• Support inventory management, equipment maintenance, and radiation safety protocols.
• Participate in Cath Lab on-call responsibilities and maintain procedural readiness.
• Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Permanent pacemaker placement experience preferred
• Experience with Impella and balloon pump required
• Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and sterile technique
• Mac Lab and EPIC experience preferred
• Strong communication and computer skills required

Education & Certifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or Applied Science program
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• AHA BLS Certification required
• ACLS required within 3 months of employment
• RCIS certification or Radiologic Technologist License required within 1 year
• ARRT Certification required
• Active Radiological State License required
