🩺 Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Maryland

📄 Contract Length: 13 Weeks
⏰ Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 shifts (Rotating Evenings/Nights)

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
• Every other weekend + holidays as scheduled

💼 Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced Emergency Department treating patients across all age groups (infant–geriatric). This is a high-acuity environment requiring strong triage skills, rapid decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple complex cases.

🚑 Key Responsibilities

• Triage and prioritize patients based on acuity
• Perform comprehensive assessments and initiate care plans
• Administer medications and carry out provider orders accurately
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond rapidly
• Assist with emergency interventions and life-saving procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans

✅ Requirements

• Active Maryland RN License
• 2+ years recent ER experience required
• Certifications required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NIH Stroke Scale
  • CPI (completed during onboarding)
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts and handle high patient volume

• Level: Fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department
• Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4 (up to 5 for lower acuity)
• Patient Population: All ages; wide range of complex diagnoses
