Description
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required
• Travel experience required
• Experience with ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, blood administration, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, stroke, and neuro patients
• Cerner charting experience required
Certifications:
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• TNCC or TCAR
• 6 Hours Stroke Education (can be provided)
• EKG Course Completion (can be provided)
License:
• Active RN License (State license required prior to start)
On-Call:
• No on-call requirement
Weekend Requirement:
• Every other weekend
Experience in Specialty:
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Neuro ICU experience preferred
• Surgical ICU experience preferred
• Stroke and Neuro patient management experience required
• Experience caring for ventilated patients required
Floating:
• Required to float to MS/Tele when ICU census is low
Charting System:
• Cerner
Patient Ratio:
• 1:2–3

Cons
Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
