📅 Start Date: 7/13/2026
📄 Contract Length: 13 Weeks
⏰ Schedule: 5x8 Day Shifts (40 hrs/week) + On-Call

💼 Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support a busy OR team. This role requires strong multi-specialty experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment.

🏥 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical field and instruments
• Assist surgeons during procedures (instrument passing, retraction, suturing support)
• Perform surgical counts (sponges, needles, instruments)
• Ensure proper patient positioning and OR setup
• Maintain and sterilize surgical equipment
• Support efficient OR workflow and patient safety

✅ Requirements

• CST Certification (required)
• 3+ years of OR experience
• Previous travel experience required
• Strong experience in multiple surgical specialties
• Ability to take on-call shifts and meet response time

🩺 Required Case Experience

Must be experienced in:

• General Surgery
• Total Joints (MAKO)
• Spine (Globus)
• Urology
• Endoscopy / Cystoscopy
• GYN procedures

📋 Schedule & Expectations

• 40 hours/week (5x8s days)
• On-call required:
  • ~1 weekday per week
  • ~Every 5th weekend (dependent on staffing)
• Must be within 30-minute response time when on-call
