Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) – Connecticut

📍 Location: Bridgeport & Milford, CT
📅 Start Date: Flexible (Any Monday start through 7/20/2026)
📄 Contract Length: 13 Weeks
⏰ Schedule: 4x12 Night Shifts (48 hrs/week)

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend + holidays as needed

💼 Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center. This role requires strong critical care experience, including ventilator management and the ability to support multiple units, including NICU and Pediatrics.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate patient response
• Manage ventilators, including advanced systems (Draeger required)
• Monitor vital signs, oxygenation, and respiratory status
• Assist in emergency and critical care interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams on treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care
• Support and orient new staff or students when needed

✅ Requirements

• Active RRT or CRT Certification
• State Respiratory Therapy License
• 2+ years of experience (required)
• Travel experience required
• Level II Trauma experience required
• Draeger ventilator experience REQUIRED
• BLS Certification

• 48 hours/week (4x12 nights)

• Travelers must be flexible to float across units
