Job Overview

  • Facility: Short Term Acute Care Hospital
  • Location: Oregon (OBMI State Jurisdiction)
  • Position: CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist (Dual-Role)
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Standard)
  • Target Start Date: 08/03/2026
  • Hours: 36 or 40 hours per week (Based on final shift routing)
  • Shift: Variable / Rotating shifts available

Job Description & Unit Details

Opportunity for a skilled dual-modality imaging professional to handle general diagnostic radiography and advanced computed tomography (CT) workflows. This position demands independent operational judgment, safe radiation protection practices, and versatile clinical execution.

  • Modality Focus: Combines Diagnostic X-Ray (Routine, Fluoroscopy, specialized interventional assistance) and Computed Tomography protocols (Head, Spine, Chest, Abdomen, and Pelvis anatomy).
  • Clinical Expectation: Technologist must complete a specialized CT skills validation check with an advanced user on-site covering anatomical protocols and safe contrast administration.
  • Floating Policy: Required. Agency personnel will float to alternate qualified imaging departments based on facility census needs prior to core staff tracking.

Requirements

Experience & Clinical Skills

  • Clinical Skills: Competency in preparing, identifying, and administering contrast media and prescribed clinical medications under institutional policy guidelines.
  • Venipuncture: Independent capability to establish and verify reliable IV/venipuncture lines for contrast tracking.

Licensure & Certifications

  • State License: Active and clear OBMI (Oregon Board of Medical Imaging) license is strictly required in hand at the time of submission.
  • Certifications: ARRT registered CT Technologist [ARRT(CT)] and active BLS certification.
  • Special Submittal Training: CRASE training is preferred. Note: If this travel contract extends beyond a consecutive 6-month period, completing CRASE training becomes a mandatory facility mandate.
