CRNA Locum Tenens Opportunity – Pennsylvania

High-Volume Anesthesia Assignment | Full-Time Availability Required

We are seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a busy, high-volume hospital-based anesthesia practice in Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for providers looking for consistent full-time scheduling in a collaborative, supervised anesthesia care team model.

Position Highlights

• License Requirement: Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC eligibility required

• Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Supervision Model: Yes – CRNAs work under anesthesiologist supervision
• Reason for Need: Staffing support
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
• Temporary Privileges: Not available

Schedule

• Full-time availability required
• Providers must be available 3–4 weeks per month
• Schedule options:
  • 5 x 8-hour shifts
  • 4 x 10-hour shifts
• Monday through Friday
• Overtime applies after 40 hours worked per week
• No call responsibilities
• No weekend coverage required
• Lunches are not covered

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $230-260/hr
• No stipends available

This facility operates more than 24 ORs and maintains a busy surgical schedule.

• Neonatal cases
• Trauma
• Orthopedic surgery (including complex orthopedic cases)
• Neurosurgery
• Head and spine procedures
• Thoracic cases (excluding open heart)
• Complex vascular cases (excluding open heart)
• MitraClip procedures
• Watchman procedures
• Regional anesthesia

Excluded Cases

• Open heart surgery
• Obstetrics (OB)

Required Skills & Procedures

Candidates must be comfortable performing and managing:

Anesthesia Techniques

• General anesthesia
• Spinal anesthesia
• Epidural anesthesia
• Regional anesthesia
• Pain management techniques

Regional & Pain Procedures

• Post-operative epidurals
• Post-operative extremity blocks
• Lumbar epidural steroid injections
• Cervical epidural steroid injections
• Transforaminal procedures
• Use of x-ray guidance for block placement

Advanced Clinical Skills

• Ventilation management
• Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues
• Central line placement
• Arterial line placement
• Pulmonary artery catheter placement
• CRNA supervision experience

Candidate Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania license required (or IMLC eligibility)
• Current CRNA certification required
• Strong experience in high-acuity anesthesia environments
• Comfortable with complex orthopedic, vascular, neuro, thoracic, pediatric, and trauma cases
• Must have full-time availability (3–4 weeks per month)
