Registered Nurse – Rehab 

Location: Harvey, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 07/13/2026
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (06:15 AM – 06:45 PM)
Unit: Rehab RN (27640)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Manage and monitor patients requiring respiratory support including:
  • Oxygen administration
  • Nasal cannula
  • Non-invasive airway management
  • Tracheostomy care and management
• Perform peripheral IV line care and IV therapy/phlebotomy duties.
• Respond appropriately to patient emergencies and activate Rapid Response/Code Teams as needed.
• Deliver safe and effective medication administration and patient monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge needs, and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Float to inpatient Med/Surg units as required.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• Rehab or LTAC experience accepted.
• Inpatient Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Travel experience preferred.
  • First-time travelers should have at least 2 years of experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
