Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks with Possible Extension

Pay: $3,572/week gross

Bonus: $800 Sign‑On Bonus

Shift: 4×10 Days with a rotating day off + call as needed

Overview

A major medical center in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for an ASAP start. This is a traveler‑friendly department with leadership open to candidates who have NO prior travel experience and NO trauma experience, making it an excellent opportunity for strong IR Techs ready to take their first travel assignment.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during interventional procedures, ensuring safe and efficient workflow
  • Operate imaging equipment and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
  • Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for daily caseload
  • Support patient care before, during, and after procedures
  • Document procedures accurately and maintain compliance with facility standards
  • Participate in call rotation as needed

Requirements

  • Interventional Technology experience required
  • Cath Lab experience preferred
  • BLS & ACLS – required
  • Entry‑into‑practice education requirement (must be clearly listed on resume):
    • Associate degree or above in Radiologic Technology OR
    • Completed 2‑year RCIS program
  • Open to candidates with no travel and no trauma background
