Description
Travel RN – Outpatient Neurology Clinic
Shift: Days | 5x8s | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
🚫 No Weekends | No On-Call | No Floating
✅ Requirements
- Active California RN License
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- BLS required
- Epic experience highly preferred
- Neurology and/or Infusion experience highly preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
🏥 Role Highlights
- Outpatient Neurology Clinic (Non-bedside)
- Charting: Epic
- Adult, Pediatric & Geriatric patients
- Office visits, telephone triage, medication refills, patient education, lab review & prior authorizations
📋 Weekly Workload
- 💉 Infusion orders: ~8/week
- 💊 Medication refills: ~50/week
- 📑 Prior authorizations: 15–20/week
- 📞 Patient/MyChart calls: ~50/week
- 👩⚕️ Office visits: 15–20/week
- Uses MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) screening tool

They were really quick about getting me a contract.
Cons
Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
