Job Description & Unit Details

Join a community-owned, not-for-profit Level III Trauma Facility featuring 4 active OR suites and additional minor procedure rooms. This unit is highly collaborative, where permanent staff and visiting surgeons work tightly together to deliver top-tier surgical care close to home.

• Clinical Cases: Primary focus on Ortho (Total Joints), alongside general circulation for OBGYN (including C-sections), General Surgery, Urology, and ENT lines.
• Unit Dynamics: Small team environment requiring a team-first mindset. Shared responsibilities include helping turn rooms and cleaning between cases.
• PACU Callback Role: During on-call callback events, the OR RN will rotate into the PACU to assist the primary recovery nurse as a supportive second set of hands.
• Orientation: Brief hospital-wide compliance orientation followed by immediate department-specific competency check-offs.
• Scrub Dress Code: Surgical scrubs are fully provided on-site by the hospital.
