Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Patient Population: Adult
Temp-to-Perm: Possible
Requirements
- Active RT or RCP License in the state of employment
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through NBRC
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- 1–3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred
Schedule
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to adult critical, non-critical, and chronically ill patients
- Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans
- Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and airway management
- Collect and analyze blood gases, perform EKG interpretation, and review chest X-rays
- Respond to emergency situations, including Code Blue and Code White
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure equipment is cleaned and stocked
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory surveys
Advanced Skills (as applicable)
- INO and Heliox therapy
- Pulmonary Function Testing
- Bronchoscopy assistance
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Waveform analysis
- Sleep studies and nocturnal SpO₂ evaluations
- Patient transport

Cons
Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
